New Moon in Virgo: Changing
Trains Mid Route
By Isis Ward
Today's new moon is actually void of course, but zips right into
Virgo, a Mercury ruled earth sign. Interestingly enough, jolly ol' Jupiter
has recently shifted out of Mercury-ruled Gemini into Moon-ruled Cancer.
This combination invites us to move out of the analytic, critical way
of
looking at things, into the realm of discernment (a function of listening
with the whole self, without judgment or preconceptions).
Virgo is famous for its ability to think (and speak) critically. The more
loving, higher vibration is discernment, which involves the intuition
as
much as the intellect. Jupiter and Venus in Cancer work to expand our
understanding of emotion and intuition. A new moon in an earth sign presents
us with a powerful opportunity to manifest on the earth plane.
We are aware that we create our own reality, but the mind rebels against
this, providing endless examples of why this cannot be true. (Then why
am I
not rich, thin, president or god? Mayhap you are very busy creating the
opposite situations in your life.)
If the emotional body is not involved wholeheartedly in your mentally
preferred creation, well, it just won't manifest....especially since the
emotional body is very powerfully involved in creating that which you
fear
or loathe or celebrate.
Here we can tap into the higher vibration of the Virgo Moon to discern
where
we put our energy and without judgment, put it elsewhere.
Are we traveling on a reactionary rail, powerfully creating our fears
and
loathings like rows of hideous redwood burl sculptures? When looking at
our
history, do the words "always," "never" and "why
me" pop up with alarming
frequency?
If this is our track, we can easily switch trains, right here in the present
moment. What has been will not necessarily be in the future. Your focus
is
the ticket to a different reality. Change trains now!
The keys to making a new life state are 1) see no conflict between where
you
choose to be and where you are now. The judge will try oh so hard to have
something to say here. Ignore the judge.
2) Be in joy where you are now. This very second. There is nothing
preventing a second's joy. No really, there isn't. Are you breathing?
Let
that breath be joy. Period. (Continue ignoring the judge who by now has
plenty to say about the author).
3) Be confident in your constant connection with the Divine. The judge
again
has commentary to present, likely on your worthiness/capability for this
connection. Ignore the judge.
4) Assist others and get their assistance in visioning your reality. Some
people experience this via "prayer circles," popular now on
the internet. If
the judge complains, you can always point out that these are visioning
circles. Or ignore the judge.
Take advantage of this stellar and lunar configuration by using it to
spend
one month changing trains of thought. Do not advise the judge as to your
itinerary. The astrology of today is designed to leave the judge behind
while you design a beautiful new state of being.
