Tension and Transformation
Astrological - Insight by Isis Ward

The New Moon is always conjunct the Sun and this time it is square Mars in Capricorn as well as Jupiter in Cancer. There is also a loose conjunction with retrograde Mercury and a grand trine between these conjunct planets, as well as Uranus and Saturn. Pluto and Saturn remain in opposition. But what does that mean?!
A grand trine usually means that things flow exceptionally and dangerously well. Dangerous because one does not always examine them closely since they are flowing well. Thus, as the planets in the trine now are all in Air signs, lies can flow well, fears can flow well along with the other attributes of mind and communication.
Oppositions and squares create tension-very intense tension where Mars and Pluto are involved. Anger, resentment are easy to rise and hard to put to bed. Unreasonable rage at the backwards toilet paper role-that’s a Mars square. Unsquelchable desires to tar and feather political figures, that’s common sense...I mean a Mars square.
The tension which is most interesting, however, is the tension of oppositions. Most opposites are two sides of the same coin. Oppositions beg us to see where we refuse to reconcile ourselves. Pluto, the planet of deep transformation operates on the same energies that run Saturn, the planet of restriction, habit and Karma.
The polarization between Jupiter in Cancer, expanding our emotional bodies and need for nurturing, and Mars in Capricorn, the ambitions drive to achieve in the material world, actually work to evoke a similar sense of waking up.
To be more accurate, they are helping people give expression to the awakening brought on by the Angel of Death. After the initial shock, sudden loss of lives, livelihood and the illusion of safety have sounded a siren call to live what is important.
For some this means throwing caution to the winds and pursuing ones highest ambitions. If there is a chance that life itself might disappear instantly (of course this chance was present all along; it was simply illuminated by acts of war and terror), then one must seize the day and create one’s dream now, says Mars in Capricorn.
Others realize that their love for other people is much too large to be ignored or put on a back shelf. For them, the flash of lightning illuminated the faces of loved ones and strangers who touch their hearts. Suddenly time home with beloveds becomes precious, to be sought out and treasured, says Jupiter in Cancer.

These two forces seem to tear one in half, because the opposition magnifies the forces of the planets. It will be easy to get caught in fear based frantic mental gyrations (the grand trine in air signs with Mercury retrograde).
The key to finding wholeness is to realize that if you bring love to what you do, and the people encounter, there is space and time for perfection in being.

And who can complain about their lives if they are experiencing perfection? Seeking fulfillment is as easy as saying thank you on every breath. Let this be your secret mantra to balance your life.(Feel free to steal this idea and make millions as the true bearer of the Secret of Life).
